Rainy Monday through Wednesday Morning

A low pressure system will bring several waves of energy through Wednesday. Rainfall amounts could reach over 2″ along the Missouri River. Areas further in northern Missouri look to get 0.25″ to 0.50″ by Wednesday morning. Columbia and Jefferson City could see 2+” by Wednesday. Rain will be on and off on Monday, increasing Monday night. Heavy rainfall looks possible by 7PM near HWY 65 and near US 63 by 9PM. Pockets of heavy rain look possible through Tuesday morning until 7AM. Rainfall looks to be light and spotty by 8AM, with another round increasing on Tuesday afternoon before tapering off Tuesday night.

Any rainfall Wednesday morning looks to be light and spotty and mainly limited to I-70 and south through 9AM. Wednesday afternoon and evening will bring some dry time with temperatures starting to reach the mid to upper 60s.
