16-year-old killed in head-on crash in Moniteau County
A 16-year-old is dead this morning after a crash in Moniteau County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports it happened just after 9:30 Sunday night on Highway 50, just west of County Road Snorgrass.
The patrol reports 16-year-old Lilyann Nanneman crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head on.
Nanneman was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say she was wearing a seat belt.
The occupants of the other vehicle both suffered moderate injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
This is the 21st fatal crash in mid-Missouri this year.
