Four suspects on the loose following armed robbery, home invasion
Columbia police are investigating an armed robbery and home invasion on Vandiver Drive, and say four suspects are on the loose.
The robbery happened at a home on Vandiver Drive shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday. According to investigators, one person in the home answered a knock at the door, at which point the person at the door pulled out a gun. The suspect and three others then entered the home and demanded to know “where the money was located.”
The suspects then left with some property; the man who answered the door got minor injuries but didn’t need to be taken to a hospital. Three others in the home were not hurt.
