Passenger in serious condition after Miller County motorcycle crash
An Eldon woman is in serious condition at University Hospital after being involved in a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning.
It happened just after midnight Saturday on Highway 54, approximately 4 miles east of Lake Ozark.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 2005 Harley Davidson suffered a tire failure, causing it to overturn and roll several times.
Both the 62-year-old male driver and the 44-year-old female passenger were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the driver was not wearing a helmet, but the passenger was.
The crash comes one week into Missouri’s Motorcycle Awareness Month.
