Special Report: Rebuilding Joplin
It’s been five years since a massive tornado ripped through Joplin, Missouri one Sunday afternoon. It killed more than 150 people, injured more than a 1,000 and caused millions of dollars worth of damage.
ABC 17 News returns to where it all happened to see how the city has recovered after a devastating natural disaster and asks what changes has the city made to make sure it’s better prepared for another tornado.
ABC 17 News will also ask how Joplin residents are continuing to cope in “Rebuilding Joplin: Five Years Later” Sunday, May 22 on ABC 17 News at 10 on KMIZ.
