Women injured in single car crash near Angel Lane on Highway 63

UPDATE: Oyundari Batsaikhan is in the hospital recovering from minor injuries after she crashed her car on Highway 63 southbound and rolled over.

According to the crash report, she was not wearing a seat belt.

ABC17 News is working to find out why she crashed.

A vehicle crash on Highway 63 has traffic down to one lane southbound toward Jefferson City.

The crash happened near Angel Lane, just past the airport.

According to Captain Klifton Bullard with Southern Boone Fire, a woman was driving southbound when her car went off the road and rolled.

Emergency crews performed an extrication as she was partially ejected from the car and could not move.

There were no other cars involved in the crash and she was the only one in her car.

She was taken to University Hospital but Bullard did not know the extent of her injuries.

Bullard also didn’t know if she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash or why she crashed.

He said Southern Boone and Boone County fire both responded to the scene. The Missouri State Highway Patrol also responded.
