Man accused of robbing drive-thu window still at large, authorities say

Police in Mexico are searching for a man who they say robbed a Taco Bell drive-thru window at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

Employees at the restaurant told investigators that the man climbed through the window, pointed a gun at the workers and demanded money that they were about to put in the safe.

The man escaped through the window without injuring anyone, police said.

Police described the robber as a white man 6 feet, 1 inch tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a dark gray hoodie-style sweatshirt, black pants and dark gray shoes with a black ski-mask-style cloth covering the majority of his face.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Crimestoppers at 800-392-TIPS or 800-392-8477 or Mexico Public Safety at 573-581-2100 or 573-473-5800.
