Boone County Sheriff’s deputies take two into custody at Welcome Inn

Boone County Sheriff’s deputies took two people into custody Tuesday night at Welcome Inn in Columbia.

It was a multi-agency effort with Columbia Police and the Callaway County Sheriff’s deputies on the scene.

A white Lexus was towed as deputies searched a room.

Boone County would not confirm if this incident was related to the heavy law enforcement presence in Callaway County Tuesday night, butABC 17 News was told that any new information will be provided from the Callaway County Sheriff’s Department.
