Columbia woman, wanted in Miller County, caught in Callaway County

A Columbia woman wanted on a drug-related warrant in Miller County has been arrested by deputies in Callaway County.

On Thursday morning, deputies got a call about a suspicious vehicle at the Taco Bell in Kingdom City. When they arrived, deputies contacted Amber Higgins of Columbia and Andrea Robertson of Hermann. While searching the vehicle, investigators reported finding methamphetamine, heroin, and marijuana. Both women were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia, and were taken to the Callaway County jail.

At the time of her arrest, Higgins was wanted in Miller County on a warrant for intent to distribute controlled substances. She remains in jail on the charges in both Callaway and Miller Counties. Robertson posted bond and was released from jail.
