Two drivers and a passenger injured in crash caused by wet pavement

Three people were injured in a crash in Jefferson City Tuesday morning, though none of the injuries are serious.

According to police, one driver tried to stop for traffic on an exit ramp from Highway 54 to Highway 179. Because of wet pavement, though, her car skidded and hit the back of an SUV.

The SUV’s driver was taken to a hospital in Jefferson City with minor injuries. The driver of the first vehicle and a passenger also got minor injuries, but were treated at the scene.
