Motorcyclist thrown from bike in afternoon crash

First responders were called to Route J near Graham Road in Boone County Saturday afternoon for reports of a motorcycle crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 1:30 p.m.

Trooper said Alex Wilheim, 19, was going around a curve when he drove off the right side of the road and overturned.

According to the crash report, Wilheim was ejected from his bike. He was taken to University Hospital to be treated for moderate injuries.
