Average last freeze in Mid-Missouri

Looking back at 30 years of data, our last freeze in Mid-Missouri is usually April 10 for areas along the Missouri River to April 20th in the Ozarks. The latest date of freezing temperatures in Columbia is May 9th which occurred in 1906. Our last freeze last year was April 4th.

It looks unlikely that we will have a frost or freeze in the next couple weeks. Medium range forecast models show a mild weather pattern for the last half of April with above average temperatures and near normal precipitation.

The average low for the end of April is 49 degrees with an average high of 70 and average rainfall at 4.49 inches.
