40-year-old man killed in Camdenton crash Friday

A man was killed Friday in a two vehicle crash in Camdenton.

It happened around 4:20 Friday afternoon on South Business Route 5 near the intersection of VFW Road.

40-year-old David Ray was traveling southbound on the road when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a northbound truck pulling a trailer.

Emergency crews took Ray to Lake Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The 19-year-old male driver of the truck was not injured in the crash.
