Marginal Threat for Severe Storms Sunday
Areas shaded in dark green are under a Marginal Threat for severe thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon and evening. A Marginal threat means there is a low risk for severe weather, but the threat is there. A warm front will lift in the morning producing a few showers and possible thunderstorms where instability looks meager. With temperatures warming to the upper 60s, and low 70s during the day, and dew points rising to the mid 60s, this couple with winds increasing with height on Sunday evening could fuel a few strong to severe storms in the evening in southwest Mid-Missouri.
