I-70 moving again after reports of a hitchhiker, wrong-way driver

Traffic is moving again Monday after reports of a wrong-way driver in Boone County. Emergency crews told ABC 17 News they later found out it involved a hitchhiker on I-70 west of Columbia.

ABC 17 News crews saw an ambulance and several law enforcement at the scene.

Eastbound traffic along on I-70 near the Midway exit was backed up, starting around 6:30 a.m.
