Three people thrown from car during Friday afternoon crash

Three people were ejected from a car after a crash in Randolph County Friday afternoon.

The crash happened just before 2 p.m. on Route B about five miles outside of Higbee.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the 37-year-old driver ran off the right side of the road and hit several trees.

Three of the four people were thrown from the vehicle. The crash report said no one was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

All four people were taken to University Hospital with moderate to serious injuries.

Three people had been released from the hospital as of Saturday afternoon. A 16-year-old girl is still in the hospital in good condition.
