Two dead after crash in Montgomery County

A three-car crash in Montgomery County left two dead Friday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirms drivers Jessica Clauson of Jonesburg and Jessica Schmidt of Montgomery City were killed on Highway 19 near Hermann.

The crash report shows a car tried to pass a dump truck and hit another car head-on.

Neither Clauson nor Schmidt wore seat belts.

The truck driver suffered minor injuries.
