Jefferson City crash causes minor injuries to drivers

Jefferson City police investigated a crash Tuesday night that left two drivers with minor injuries.

It happened just before 8 p.m. Police say a 2003 Chevy passenger car made a left turn onto West Truman Boulevard from Amazonas Drive.

The car reportedly failed to yield to a 2008 Dodge passenger car traveiling eastbound on West Truman.

One driver had minor injures, but refused medical assistance. The driver of the other car refused medical treatment at the scene, but was later taken to the hospital.

There was moderate damage to both cars. Police say both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
