Man arrested for DWI on riding mower

Fulton police arrested a man Monday night for allegedly driving a riding lawn mower while drunk.

Police say they received a complaint just before 6:30 p.m. about a man operating a riding lawnmower in a reckless manner on Jefferson City Road near Claymine Drive.

Officers arrested Jeremy Cochran for the incident, which police say will be his sixth DWI.

During the arrest police say Cochran assaulted officers and resisted arrest. No officers were injured.

His bond was set at $15,000 cash only.
