Downtown Columbia building demolished

A building in downtown Columbia is has been knocked down Monday.

Crews tore down the building on Tenth and Locust directly behind Quintons Bar and Deli and the clothing store Britches.

A developer from California wants to build a 10-story retail/residential building on the lot.

Developers are also planning on tearing down Quintons and Britches, but its unclear exactly when that will happened.
