Woman taken to hospital after single-vehicle crash
Officials are investigating after a single-vehicle crash in Boone County Friday morning.
Deputies tell us a woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after crashing the car she was driving along Wade School Road near Mauller Road.
Witnesses say the woman ran off the road, over corrected, ran off the road again and hit something, causing her car to fly over the object she hit.
Authorities are investigate possible impaired driving and speeding. A Boone County deputy tells us sometimes speeding is a problem in that area.
