Two children, two adults injured in late night crash

A two car crash in Camden County sent three people to the hospital Friday night, including two children.

The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on Highway 5 near Mt. Horeb Road.

The State Highway Patrol said one car was trying to cross Highway 5, but failed to yield to oncoming traffic.

A car carrying a 12-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl was traveling northbound down the highway when it hit the other car trying to cross.

The two children and the adult driver were taken to the hospital for minor injuries. According to the crash report, all three people were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The driver of the other car declined medical treatment on scene.
