Four arrested for breaking into Maries County home

Maries County deputies caught four people in the act of breaking into a home near St. James on Thursday.

The burglary happened at a home on Highway P Thursday morning. Deputies caught the suspects with a truck and trailer full of stolen property, as well as a gun that had been tampered with.

They arrested Kody Johnson from Arkansas on suspicion of burglary, stealing, tampering, and possession of a defaced firearm. Deputies also arrested Corinna Wagler of Huston, Missouri on suspicion of burglary.

Charges have not been filed against the other two people at this point.
