Columbia man arrested for burglary
Deputies have arrested a man on suspicion of breaking into a home while two people were inside.
On the night of March 14, authorities were called to a home on Richland Road, where a woman said she found a stranger in her bedroom. The intruder ran, but another person at the home claimed to recognize the suspect as Daniel Hughes from Columbia.
Deputies later arrested Hughes on suspicion of burglary. He is currently in the Boone County jail.
