Boone County garage fire burns two cars

More than 20 firefighters responded to a garage fire Friday evening around 5:43 p.m.

The fire happened on Old Number Seven near Dripping Springs Road off of Highway 63.

No one was hurt, but at least two cars are destroyed. The homeowner is cooperating with investigators.

Assistant Chief Josh Creamer with the Boone County Fire Department says firefighters were able to extinguish the fire within a few minutes.
