Man killed after 2 vehicle crash in Audrain County

A Hermann, Missouri man is dead after a crash in Audrain County Monday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash happened at 7:30 Monday morning on U.S. 54 at the MO 19 south junction.

MSHP said 46-year-old Alfred Badar was driving northbound on the road when another driver pulled out in front of him. Badar apparently then hit that vehicle, causing both vehicles to go off the roadway.

MSHP reports Badar’s vehicle overturned, partially ejecting Badar.

Badar was taken toSSM St. Mary’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other driver was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of moderate injuries.

This is the forth fatal crash in mid-Missouri in March and 12th for 2016.
