Higbee home destroyed by fire
A Higbee family has lost their home after a fire Tuesday morning. The fire happened near County Road 2850.
A source close to the family who lived there says the home is a total loss, and that one child ended up in a Columbia hospital. The father of the family also reportedly had a heart attack, and is in the hospital as well.
Randolph County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy says the fire is not suspicious. There is no word on what caused the fire.
