Investigators looking into Callaway County fire, burglary

Authorities in Callaway County are investigating a fire and burglary, southwest of Fulton.

Deputies told ABC 17 News they responded to a grass fire in the Mark Twain National Forest, off County Road 315.

Investigators said the fire then spread to a truck that was parked behind the building.

They said a person was allegedly trying to break into the shed before leaving the scene.

Authorities said they had reached out to the property owner, but have not heard back.

So far, no arrests have been made.
