Crews safely locate 15-year-old after search

A 15-year-old girl is safe and with family after a Saturday night search.

Assistant Fire Chief of the Boone County Fire Protection District Gale Blomenkamptells ABC 17 News the teen hadn’t been seen since 6:30 p.m.

Crews were called out to the 9700 block of Route O around 9:30 p.m.

The girl was found safe at a relative’s house.
