2015-2016 Winter makes it into the Top 10

The meteorological winter ended on February 29th. From December through the end of February the average temperature was 37.3 at Columbia Regional, making it the 6th mildest winter on record. 2011 and 2012 was the last time we had a mild winter close to this, where the average temperature was 37.7. This winter also puts us in the top 30 Least Snowiest winters. In December we only picked up a trace amount of snow. January we had the most snowfall of 6.9″, and in February we only measured 2.1″, making it a total 9.0″ for the 2015-2016 winter season.
