Crews respond to 4-plex fire on Hinton Road
Crews responded to a fire at a 4-plex on Hinton Road in Boone County Sunday morning.
The blaze temporarily closed Hinton Rd. near Hwy VV.
The call came in just after nine in the morning. Seven trucks initially responded and the captain searched the area where there was smoke showing.
Crews were able to contain the fire, which they say originated at the exterior door of apartment A.
No one was in the apartment at the time. As of now, officials say there was no obvious source for the fire.
