Truck driver charged in deadly crash allowed to drive
A judge sustained a motion to amend bond conditions for a truck driver charged in a deadly crash on I-70 east of Columbia.
Anthony West is now allowed to operate a motor vehicle.
His next court appearance is set for March 21 and the trial is set for March 29.
The crash happened in July near the Lake of the Woods exit.
West is accused of ignoring the warning signs from an earlier wreck, before smashing into a line of cars stopped near the scene.
79-year-old Margaret Haile was killed waiting in traffic.
