Man sentenced for Cole County shooting
A man is going to prison for the next 7 years after shooting another man in the chest in Cole County.
The victim was hit several times and went to University Hospital in Columbia.
It happened last July off Randall Drive near Truman Blvd., about 15 minutes northwest of Jefferson City.
Kevin White was sentenced Tuesday on two felony counts of second degree assault. He pleaded guilty in December.
