Traffic alert: Southbound Rangeline to close Tuesday

Columbia drivers may run into traffic delays this week as crews continue work on the I-70 bridge project.

The southbound lanes of Rangeline will be closed Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

MoDOT says traffic will be routed west on Vandiver to Providence. This is so crews can continue work on the I-70 bridge project.

In addition to Tuesday’s closure, Rangeline will continue to be reduced to one lane in each direction until Mid-March.

MoDOT will also be holding a public meeting today to discuss a different part of the project. They say dual-lane roundabouts will be built on the north and south sides of I-70 to move traffic better and faster.

Anyone with questions or concerns about the project can attend the meeting at Emery Sapp & Sons from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. as representatives will be there to speak to the pubic.
