Medical marijuana bill moves forward in Missouri House

A bill is also moving forward in the state legislature to create a ballot proposal legalizing medical marijuana.

The measure was just referred to a select committee in the Missouri House Tuesday. If approved, voters could decide on the changes this November.

It would establish as many as 30 centers statewide. People might be covered if they have cancer, glaucoma, HIV, Crohn’s, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, among other conditions.
