A strong low pressure system will track across southern Arkansas Tuesday evening, bringing rain to areas south of HWY 50 and mainly across I-44 with higher rain totals to the boot heel. A change over to light snow looks likely early Wednesday morning as northeasterly winds usher in colder temperatures and rain changing over to wet snow. Columbia and Jefferson City look to stay dry.
