Former Cooper Co. emergency manager running for county commission
The former emergency management director in Cooper County is now
running to become a county commissioner.
Tom White was replaced as a director last October.
In November, voters rejected a new sales tax hike for the center,which was split from the Emergency Management Agency.
Officials in Saline County stepped in to help manage the dispatch system.
ABC 17 News has previously reported on concerns involving the center’s upgrades last spring.
