Three-car crash in Callaway County sends one man to the hospital

A man was seriously injured in a crash that happened on Route J in Fulton Saturday night.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. about a quarter mile from County Road 228.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Joey Andrade, 33, tried passing another car and then lost control. Andrade’s car sideswiped the second car before crossing the center lane and hitting a third car head on.

Andrade’s brother, Matthew Andrade, was in the passenger seat during the collision. He was transported to University Hospital to be treated for his injuries and has since been released.

Troopers said everyone was wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.
