One person hurt in Boone County slide-off

ABC 17 confirmed one man went to the hospital Tuesday morning after a truck slid off an icy road about 15 minutes north of Columbia.

The Boone County Fire Protection District responded around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday near KMJ and Akeman Bridge roads, off Highway VV.

Crews say the truck was going slow but still got stuck. The man was able to walk on his own but went in an ambulance for treatment.
