Morgan Co. R-2 School District to replace trooper on board

The Morgan Co. R-2 School Board will move forward with replacing Trooper Anthony Piercy’s position.

Members are expected to interview two people for the opening.

Piercy resigned from the board last month after he was charged in December with the 2014 drowning death of Brandon Ellingson.

The trooper waived his right to an arraignment Thursday during a court appearance.
