Police investigating robbery with a gun
Police are investigating a robbery with a gun at a home in south Columbia Wednesday morning.
It happened around 7:30 a.m. at 158 Maple Grove Way.
Police say a man with a gun broke into the home. Police say the resident immediately pushed the door close, with the robber’s arm in the door.
Police say the man shot one bullet into the but no one was injured.
There was nothing taken from the home during the attempted robbery.
Police are still looking for the robber.
A neighbor told ABC 17 News the area is relatively safe. He says he has never been burglarized while living there, and doesn’t recall any of his neighbors being burglarized.
