Mizzou moves on from commit who was in jail on signing day
Mizzou has reportedly moved on from commit Marvin Terry. Terry didn’t sign with Mizzou or any other school on Wednesday because he was in jail. The Dallas County Jail confirmed to ABC 17 News that Terry has been there since January 25.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting Terry, 18, was arrested on suspicion of three counts of suspicion of assault.
MU football spokesman Chad Moller said, “I can’t comment on people who aren’t part of our program, so there’s really nothing to say.”
Terry is a defensive end/outside linebacker from South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, TX. He is a three-star recruit by Rivals, and a four-star recruit by ESPN.com, Scout.com and 247Sports.com. Terry is 6’2″ and weighs 215 pounds according to ESPN. He had offers from Mizzou, Miami, Oklahoma, Arkansas as well as many others.
