Court appearance set for suspect in Sedalia teen’s death

A second suspect charged in connection to a Sedalia teenager’s death is set to be in court next week. Second-degree murder charges were just filed against 21-year-old Kenneth McGee.

Another man, Brian Young, was also charged this week, accused of shooting 16-year-old Andrew Meyers during a drug deal on July 24 , 2015.

Court documents claim Young was trying to buy drugs, but McGee and Meyers had planned to rob him. Young claims Meyers pointed a gun at him first.

McGee also faces first degree attempted robbery and armed criminal action charges.
