Man wanted for child molestation in custody
The Camden County sheriff’s office confirmed a man wanted for allegedly molesting a child was in custody Sunday.
Detectives said they were actively searching for Duffy Woodman, 50, of Camdenton since Friday.
Authorities said Woodman turned himself in to the Republic Police Department around 2:00 Saturday afternoon without incident.
They said Woodman was booked in at the Greene County jail and will soon be transferred into the custody of Camden County sheriff’s deputies.
Woodman is a contractor for Woodco Incorporated who is known to drive a 2011 teal colored Chevrolet pickup with the Missouri license 6UT 441. Officials said their case spans Laclede and Camden County and involves multiple agencies.
There were several warrants out for Woodman’s arrest on two counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, two counts of first-degree child molestation and one count of having child pornography.
Woodman’s girlfriend, Misty Rae Ann Obermark, also works for the city of Lebanon. She was just arrested on Thursday for felony tampering with a victim and first-degree child endangerment charges.
Obermark was already released from jail after paying a $20,000 bond. She is due back in court February 23.
