Second teen arrested in armed robbery, third person still on run
Police say two teens are now in custody, accused of robbing a girl at gunpoint and taking her book bag before assaulting her brother when he tried to defend her.
Officers believe at least one other suspect is still on the loose.
Quency Floyd, 18, was arrested January 14, and then Orlando Strickland, 17, was picked up by the department’s community action team Thursday night.
Officials confirmed the armed robbery happened in early January on Ashley Street near Monroe.
Both suspects were booked in jail, but the third person remains unidentified.
