Winter storm along the east coast cancels flights

A blizzard on the east coast cancels thousands of flights, including dozens in Missouri.

At last check Sunday night, nearly 40 flights were affected at the Kansas City International Airport. Seventeen departures were canceled as well as 15 arrivals. A handful of flights were also delayed.

At Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, at least 15 departing flights were canceled along with 21 arrivals. Six other flights were also facing delays.

Flights to Chicago and Dallas from Columbia Regional seem to not be affected.
