Slick roads cause early morning crash in Moniteau County
A man is recovering after an early morning car crash in California, Mo.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said slick road conditions caused Christopher Winters, 31, to slide off Flag Spring Road around 12:15 Sunday morning.
Winters hit a tree before coming to a stop on the roadway.
He was transported to Capital Region Hospital for moderate injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
