A Harrisburg man has bonded out of jail after being arrested for reportedly threatening people with a gun.

Boone County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 100 block of Sexton Street in Harrisburg around 4:15 Sunday afternoon for a traffic complaint.

Preliminary investigations revealed Jacob Andrews, 33, of Harrisburg, confronted a group of people to complain about their driving. Deputies said Andrews pulled out a handgun in a threatening and angry manner toward the group.

He was arrested and taken to the Boone County Jail where he later bonded out the same day. Andrews is facing charges of unlawful use of a weapon.
