Man flown to hospital after overnight crash in Audrain County
A man is still recovering in the hospital after a crash in Mexico, Mo. late Saturday night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Payton Smith, 21, of Mexico, drove off the left side of the road on Highway 15 around 11:45 p.m.
Smith’s car hit a fence and then flipped over. He was flown to University Hospital in serious condition.
He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
