Police searching for suspect in early morning burglary at D&H Drugstore
Police are currently searching for a suspect after an early morning burglary at the D&H Drugstore in Columbia.
ABC 17 News had crews on the scene on Broadway and West Boulevard.Law enforcement is focusing their search on the area south of Broadway. A K-9 unit is also on the scene.
Police tell us the suspect broke through the front door, although it is too soon to know if anything was taken. CPD believes they have tracked the suspect, but were unsuccessful in locating them.
The incident was reported just after 4 Friday morning.
The investigation is currently ongoing. ABC 17 News will post updates as soon as we receive any further information.
